41st Annual Hyacinth Foundation Gala & Silent Auction

Apanamae Productions is proud to announce a special philanthropic collaboration with the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation through the donation of an original painting by the organization's Founder and Artistic Director, Ricardo Osmondo Francis.

Titled “(HERE) to Live Our Lives / (HERE) to Protect Our Own,” the 2026 acrylic and mixed-media collage on canvas is an immersive visual exploration of inner strength, the complexities of everyday life, community resilience, and the importance of protecting one another.

Incorporating recognizable cultural imagery and popular characters, the composition brings together elements of childhood nostalgia, contemporary culture, identity, and collective experience. The work celebrates the resilience, joy, and shared responsibility that connect individuals and communities.

Inspired by Hyacinth's longstanding commitment to HIV/AIDS education, health equity, wellness, and community support, the painting reflects the importance of creating spaces where individuals can live authentically, access essential resources, and find strength through community.
